30-year-old Travel Agent Arrested In Delhi

Nowadays committing a crime has become very simple. Every day at least 10 to 20 cases are in the news. Here is yet another case where a 30-year-old travel agent from New Delhi has been arrested for cheating many customers by selling them fake air tickets for around Rs.1 crore.

According to the police officials, Sandeep Kumar Jha is a resident of north-east Delhi’s Khajuri Khas is also a wanted person in several cheating cases in Jaipur, Pune and Puducherry.

Police also added that Sandeep was working in a travel agency in Connaught Place where he issued many fake airline tickets and he just did not cheat the people around the locality but the people from various countries.

However the guilty was arrested from Delhi’s Sun Light Colony and also confessed to his crime during the investigation, Rajiv Ranjan, Additional Commissioner of Police (crime) said.

It is said that initially Sandeep convinced his owner and arranged for a cheaper air ticket comparing to the other market rates. Later after gaining trust and respect from the owner, he started cheating by issuing the customers the fake tickets.
