A Traditional Udaipur Wedding With Red Roses, Brass, Lamps, Lanterns & Bells

Designed around the architecture of ‘Rangmanch’, this elegant, classy yet very simple wedding was brought to life by Devika Narain & Company.

The agency worked with a deep red and marsala colour palette keeping in line with the royal, heritage ambience of the property.

The mandap was in the centre of the waterbody at the hotel, draped in red – the entire ceiling was covered with rajnigandha.

Cabanas with hand embroidered zarzodi chandowas dotted the lawns with customised coffee tables made to look like bells.

Lots of traditional details were woven into the design story- brass lamps, lanterns and bells.

Dinner post the wedding was hosted in the Guava Gardens at The Leela Palace. In an attempt to avoid artificial structures in the lawn for light, the agency create chandelier stands that lit all the tables.

The head table had a mound of red roses in the center of the table. Only red roses, the brides favourite flowers were used.
