The CBSE Board has cancelled the board exam for the 10th standard students who appeared for their mathematics exam. The official statement has been announced saying that the class 10 mathematics paper and class 12 economics paper will be conducted again. The dates for the exam has not officially been announced but will soon be updated on the Board’s official website.
It is said that the rumours of paper leaks had hit the board. But However, on March 15, Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia said that there are complaints about the Accountancy paper leak. After which the officials had started to investigate and lodge complaint with CBSE.
The re-examination has however created a little more stress and dis-appointment among the students and the guardians.
This is not the first instance where Board exam papers were leaked. Earlier in 2006, the police found the leaked CBSE question paper of Business Studies. The police found the leaked papers instead of information related to the bomb blasts in Panipat in Haryana.
