Hrithik Rohan releases book series for visually impaired children
Hrithik Roshan was recently spotted at a book launch event. The handsome hunk unveiled a book, completely written in Braille format, for specially published for visually impaired people.
Talking about ‘Tactabet’ at this event, Hrithik Roshan said that, “I have studied the basic skills of how the visually impaired people read, and I was absolutely dumbfounded to see how fast they read and how they use all four fingers. And when they read it aloud, its like seeings a news reader read on TV, that is how normal and effortless it is. Tactabet brings tears to my eyes, not because its for little children but because it’s such a heart warming idea and it gives the reader the whole experience of learning and its beautiful. It is a combination of feeling the indentation and also making out the shape of the letter like B for Ball or A for Apple and that is just genius. God bless the team of White Print and all the wonderful kids who will be learning through this medium.”
The actor will be seen playing a blind man in Kaabil alongside Yami Gautam. And they are the first celebs to have their interview posted in Braille Tactile format in this book.
Hrithik looked dapper in a black T-shirt and blue printed pants. He was elated to launch the book and praised the author for her efforts.
Kaabil is directed by Sanjay Gupta and is slated to release on January 25, 2017.
