The world’s largest mobile factory has been put up in Noida. The inauguration function will be hapenning on monday and the most important thing is Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South Korean President Moon Jae-in are coming together to inaugurate.The factory is about 32-acre at Sector 81 in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

The company is currently making around 67 million smartphones in India and the new plant will manufacture smartphone that is almost double of the old. That is around 120 million mobile phones.

And one more interesting news is that the new plant is not only manufacturing mobile phones but also manufacturing consumer electronics such as refrigerators, televisions etc,..

“This will help Samsung bring some local features to the devices powered by R&D here. Apart from this the company can also bring in export opportunity for Samsung to SAARC and other regions” said Tarun Pathak, Associate Director at Counterpoint Research.
